Red Bird (known as the First bird, Regular bird, Cardinal Bird) is the character, that appears in the very first level of the Poached Eggs episode in Angry Birds.

The first appearance in a show is on "Meeting a Cardinal" episode. He got no powers, when you tap on a screen he will scream in 3 ways. He will say "Ca-CAAW!" or "GNAAH!". He only breaks Wood and Glass, but he can't beat the Stone. He appears in almost all levels of Angry Birds, Angry Birds Rio and Angry Birds Seasons, and Angry Birds Space games.
King Pig stole the bird eggs, so that's why the Red Bird and other birds become so angry.

- Yellow Bird - the yellow triangled bird with the ability to speed up on the air and take more damage to the wood objects.
- Blue Bird - the small, weak, and cute blue bird with an ability to multiply. His voice is cute but annoying.
- Black Bird - the black bomb bird with an ability to explode while on air or while you take a damage into the objects.
- White Bird - the white bird, with an ability to drop an (fake) egg bomb from above.
- Terence the Big Brother Bird - Red's brother, is bigger and stronger than other birds except the Mighty Eagle.
- Pink Bird (possibly) - a new bird that makes her first appearance in Angry Birds Seasons' episode Back To School. Her ability is to blow bubbles and lift up the blocks and pigs from a same distance as the explosion of Black Bird, White Bird's fake egg and the TNT.
- Sonic The Hedgehog - The blue hedgehog, known as the Fastest Thing Alive.
- Miles "Tails" Prower - the friendly 2 tailed fox, the Sonic's sidekick. He's a mechanic, that can build the cars and airplanes.
- Knuckles the Echidna - the red echidna with spiky gloves, he's a proffesional street fighter.
- Cream the Rabbit - the cute light yellow bunny. She got her own Chao friend, named Cheese.

- King Pig - the leader of the pig team, other Green Pigs are ruled by him, he's trying to steal eggs and cook them, because he was hungry, he didn't ate eggs for many years.
- Dr. Eggman - the evil genius, trying to take over the world but he needs emeralds, Sonic and Angry Birds Characters need to stop him before he destroys the world.

- Red Bird, Blue Bird, Yellow Bird and Boomerang Bird are the only birds who can't destroy the stone fortresses.
- He got his old and big brother which is a giant cardinal, his name is Terence.
- In Angry Birds Space, Red Bird is now an Super Red Bird, with black super mask, and long spiky hair, he got no eye color because he equips this mask. He looks similiar to Mr. Incredible (from Pixar movie, The Incredibles) and Wolverine.
- Red Bird and his brother is the only birds with no unique power.
